Founded in 1924, the University of Kansas School of Business is a public business school on the main campus of the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. In 2016, the school moved into Capitol Federal Hall, a $70.5 million, 166,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art building.

Undergraduate majors include: accounting; business administration; business analytics; finance; information systems, management and leadership; marketing; supply chain management, and for working professionals, the business administration BBA.

As well as some minors, certificates and special programmes, the school offers some "concentrations" to broaden the undergraduates discipline base. These include: entrepreneurship; business analytics; information systems; international business; human resources management and supply chain management.

Graduate programmes include the full-time MBA; MBA for working professionals; online MBA; master of accounting; MSc in business and organisational leadership; MSB supply chain management and logistics (designed for military officers assigned to Fort Leavenworth). The school also offers a doctor of philosophy, a selective course open to only six or seven new students each year to work with faculty over disciplines including: accounting, information systems, finance, marketing, decision sciences, human resources management, organisational behaviour and strategic management.

The School has a dedicated Centre for Global Business Studies and more than one-third of KU Business undergraduate students study abroad, three times the US average.

Research activity at KU School ranges over accounting research; decision sciences and supply chain management research; finance and economics research management research and marketing research. Meanwhile, dedicated centres affiliated to the school include The Center for Business and National Security, providing a collaborative learning environment for leaders from national security institutions, business and industry, and academia.

The KU School of Business offers several free, public lectures each year that attract national and international speakers to share their perspective on major issues.
