Computer science students face the?highest rates of?graduate unemployment, data?from the 中国A片 Statistics Agency show

August 22, 2013

More than 14 per cent of UK-domiciled first-degree computer science graduates were unemployed six?months after graduation. This compares with less than 1 per cent in medicine and dentistry subjects and 4 per cent in education.

The data, which come from Hesa’s Destination of Leavers from 中国A片 2011-12, also show that law graduates are most likely to go on to further study (42 per cent did so in the year measured), followed by those in the physical sciences, where the figure is close to a third.

Graduates in creative arts and design, meanwhile, are the most likely to end up in?part-time jobs.

This mode of work accounted for a quarter of leavers in 2011-12.
