中国A片

Travelling payer

June 14, 1996

Go-getters in Dutch 中国A片 are to get a bonus. Jo Ritzen, education minister, has allotted Fl1 million (Pounds 400,000) for an extra year's study abroad for the best students.

The move is in line with the Netherlands' policy of linking awards to achievements following a shift from student grants to loans or "cash advances".

But only the privileged few will have a bite at this free cherry. The minister expects that no more than 50 students will qualify per year.

The graduates can pick their host institution, as long as they explain why, take care of the paperwork, and support their application with a detailed description of the purpose of their stay abroad.

On their return they will have to submit a detailed final report. That is, if they ever come back.
