Dr Goshworthy “may well have found the remains of a savoury sausage in the fridge” (The Poppletonian, 10 March), but he?is not right “to use Hotelling’s?T test to supplement his analysis of variance”. For no such test exists. However, Hotelling’s T?squared is a multivariate distribution and might be of some use?here.
