    Since January 1, 2020, we have strived to build a 21st century French university based on new interactions between disciplines (multidisciplinarity and ) and driven by dynamic collaborations that connect Education, Research and Innovation, as well as strong local, national, and international partnerships with the public and private sectors.

    Université C?te d'Azur is committed to transformation and excellence, which it has achieved thanks to the  that was awarded in 2016 and made permanent in 2021, placing it among the top 9 research-intensive universities in France, with . Home to , one of the four Interdisciplinary Institutes of Artificial Intelligence inaugurated in 2019, Université C?te d’Azur also created the French School of AI () in 2022, and established(EUR). The university aims to be a major research-intensive university with both strong roots in our region and an international and European outlook, notably through the  of which Université C?te d’Azur is a founding member.
