The University of Paris-Saclay is widening its international student outreach by offering 160 scholarships to outstanding master’s studentsÂ
The aim of the scholarships is to promote access to the university’s master’s programmes.
The grants will be valued at up to €10,000 (£8,700) for each student and will be awarded to those who have demonstrated academic excellence.
“These scholarships will help international students of excellence study at a world-class university, and will favour applicants wishing to carry out a doctoral project at the University of Paris-Saclay at the end of their master’s programme," said Guillaume Garreta, director of international development at Paris-Saclay.
Admittance to a master’s programme does not automatically entitle a student to a scholarship. Applications to master’s programmes will be individually reviewed by a panel of experts made up of University of Paris-Saclay members.
Selected candidates for the scholarship will be notified by email. They will then have to fill in an online application form and their application will be completed with the inclusion of two referee forms. Winners of the scholarship will be announced following a meeting of the jury.
The scholarships are available to students outside France and those aged up to 30. They can be granted for one or two years depending on the course selected.
The University of Paris-Saclay offers 350 courses at master’s level – 12 per cent of these courses are taught in English.
