对于 Tokyo Denki University
Tokyo Denki University is a relatively small private institution located in the city’s Adachi quarter, north of the city centre, and near the River Arakawa.
Created in 1907 as the Institute of Electrical and Mechanical Technology, TDU became a university in 1949, and is arguably most admired for its science and engineering base.
In 2012, it opened a new campus in nearby Senju, with multiple ultra-modern buildings and spaces inspired by Southern Italian plazas aimed at developing links between the institution and the local community.
Tokyo is well-known as one of the world’s leading financial and technological centres, which also has a staggeringly good selection of food. A key port city, it is home to the largest fish market in the world, two big baseball grounds, epic shrines, the record-breaking 634m Tokyo Skytree, the Imperial Palace, the main home of the Emperor of Japan, and lots of eye-catching bridges and independent fashion shops. It personifies Modern Asia, being full of skyscrapers, culture new and old, and advances in technology. There is barely any crime or litter on the streets.
TDU typically ranks among the best universities in Tokyo and is well regarded nationwide. Tuition fees are quite low, and a number of international student scholarships are available. It is situated relatively close to the Adachi Museum of Art, which contains displays dating back to 1870 and boasts a wonderful garden, incredibly spacious and full of natural beauty.
The Arakawa is one of Tokyo’s main rivers, and ornamented with all kinds of plants and creatures.
