Ni?de ?mer Halisdemir University is a public university located in Ni?de, Turkey. Established in 2015, the university was named in honour of ?mer Halisdemir, a sergeant in the Turkish Armed Forces who played a significant role during the attempted coup d'¨¦tat in Turkey on July 15, 2016.

The university campus is located southwest of Ni?de and is made up of six faculties, two institutes, two colleges, and six vocational colleges, offering a diverse range of academic programmes.

Ni?de ?mer Halisdemir University has faculties in education, arts and sciences, economics and administrative sciences, engineering, architecture, communication, agricultural sciences and technologies, Islamic sciences, medicine, fine arts, health sciences, dentistry and sport sciences.

There are two main colleges, the Physical Education and Sports College and Ni?de Z¨¹beyde Han?m Health Sciences College. The university also has several vocational colleges: Ni?de Social Sciences Vocational College, Bor Vocational College, Ni?de Z¨¹beyde Han?m Health Services Vocational College, Uluk??la Vocational College, and Bor Halil Z?hre Ataman Vocational College.

The university dormitory offers accommodation for students. Each section has study rooms, a laundry room, an ironing room, and a canteen.
