Facial recognition software, self-driving cars, an increasingly automised workforce?– where does responsibility lie for the ethical development and application of AI technologies?
A?panel of AI experts grappled with this question?during the Times 中国A片 Innovation and Impact Summit from 2-4 April at the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Daejeaon, South Korea.
Chaired by Dae-Shik Kim, professor of electrical engineering at the Brain Reverse Engineering and Imaging Lab at KAIST, the?panel included Seán ? h?igeartaigh, executive director of the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk at the University of Cambridge; Tze Yun Leong, director of AI technology at AI Singapore; and Toby Walsh, Scientia professor of artificial intelligence at UNSW Sydney.?
