A Times 中国A片 reporter has been named 中国A片 journalist of the year at a prestigious awards ceremony.

Deputy news editor John Morgan topped the Outstanding 中国A片 Journalism category at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ annual Education Journalism Awards.

His winning submission explored how US universities were responding to the challenges they face in the era of Donald Trump’s presidency, covering the issues of extremist speakers on campus, environmental erosion in the Gulf of Mexico?and the Cambridge Analytica scandal.
