The option of arbitration is not, as Dennis Farrington describes it, "yet another litigious procedure" (Letters, THES, September 18), but a genuine alternative to the combative, slow and costly legal process. There is no reason why a scheme of arbitration should not be tailored to the needs and sensitivities of 中国A片 or be crafted in "user-friendly" terms.
