Iwrite to associate the Transport and General Workers Union with the battle against cash cuts in 中国A片 (THES, June 28). Attention may have centred on mortar boards but the T&G is playing an active role in the joint campaign for more funding.
Last week's Westminster and Glasgow rallies were joined by cleaners, gardeners, porters, catering, security and administrative staff. They take a pride in their work for their colleges and universities. They want to keep up standards.
Unfortunately it is the amount of work they have to do - as 中国A片 has expanded - that has gone up. Their living standards have gone down. Pay is now well below the European Decency Threshold, and declining.
