A level guide to ability

十二月 1, 1995

I waited with increasing frustration for Simon Szreter to entertain the notion that those studying for A levels in the hard sciences and in languages might be more likely to achieve high grades because they were cleverer. Might it not be the case that there is a tendency in secondary education for more able students to be pushed towards these subjects? I do not know. I wanted Mr Szreter to tell me.
