Beginning with high school students in Jacksonville, Florida, the “Mannequin Challenge” involves a group of people frozen in tableau while a camera roves around them, giving the impression of time being paused.

The viral challenge has attracted contributions from Bill and Hillary Clinton, the Dallas Cowboys, Michelle Obama, and Beyoncé, and many feature dummies, skeletons and inflatables.?
