Al Gore, United States vice president, will give the keynote address at the G7 ministerial conference on information technologies in Brussels from February 24-26.
The conference will look at ways of promoting development of open, competitive and global information infrastructures.
It will concentrate on regulatory frameworks, competition policy, infrastructure implementation, accessibility, and social implications.
