Without honours 2

一月 2, 2004

When an academic with such a distinguished career as Colin Blakemore complains that he ought to have been given a knighthood, it serves only to deepen the suspicions of many who are sceptical of the sell-out of science to the government of the day.

Whether one scientist's convictions coincide with government policy is surely a red herring. They all crave "honours".
