Watered-down argument

二月 21, 2013

If psychotherapists want respect for alternatives to randomised controlled trials, they must outline them clearly, not model their rhetoric on that of homeopaths (“Jury’s out on trial by ideological ordeal”, Letters, 14 February): “cowed and brutalised by the combination of accountancy and mathematics” translates to me as “they won’t let us spend money on therapies with no provable effect”. Funny that.
