I would like to correct your report that Baroness Blackstone has yet to give Greenwich's support to the new student complaints scheme ("17 deal blow to ombudsman", April 16). Tessa Blackstone becomes vice-chancellor of Greenwich University on September 1 and has taken no part in shaping our policy on this.
It is also untrue to suggest that Greenwich is a "refusenik" on this matter. As yet, we have made no decision about how to proceed but have agreed an extended deadline with the independent adjudicator.
