Letter: In brief (3)

九月 14, 2001

To deny that universities have products and customers is not to "fail to mention what they do have" (Letters, THES , September 7).

When I teach a class of students I know they are students. What I do not know is why I should re-classify them as "customers" and describe teaching and learning in terms of production and consumption.
